Ruben van Weerdhuizen has a diverse work experience spanning over many years. Ruben started their career in 2004 as a Webdeveloper at AllSolutions, where they worked until 2008. Following that, they joined Buro Petr van Blokland + Claudia Mens as a Designer for a year. In 2009, they joined Ontwerpwerk as a Designer & Projectmanager, and later transitioned to the role of Developer Team Lead in 2019. Ruben worked at Ontwerpwerk until May 2023. Currently, Ruben is working at Hoppinger as a Strategic Delivery Manager, starting from May 2023.
Ruben van Weerdhuizen has a Bachelor's degree in Design, with a specialization in Grafische vormgeving, which they obtained from the Royal Academy of Art, The Hague | Koninklijke Academie van Beeldende Kunsten (KABK) from 1996 to 2001. Ruben also attended Aalto University in 1999 for Graphic Design, and HKU (Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Utrecht) from 1995 to 1996 for Grafische vormgeving. In terms of additional certifications, Ruben obtained the PSPO1 certification from Scrum.org in March 2019 and a Scrum Master certification in interactive projects from the Scrum Academy in May 2015.
