Victor Jouffrey has extensive work experience in the field of data science and software development. Victor is currently working at Hopsworks as a Senior Software Developer and Data MLOps Specialist, where they are responsible for developing an ML-Ops platform with a focus on simplifying data validation and data quality monitoring. Prior to this, they worked at Ocado Technology as a Data Scientist, where they developed vision systems for automation prototypes. Victor'stasks included turning product requirements into computer vision tasks, generating synthetic datasets, training AI models, and deploying optimized vision pipelines. Victor also has academic experience, having worked as a Graduate Student at the University of Cambridge and as a Visiting Research Scholar at the University of Manchester, University of Toronto, Max Planck Institute for the Physics of Complex Systems, and Ecole normale supérieure de Lyon. Victor'sresearch interests include spin models, group theory, and exotic phases in Chalcogenide compounds.
Victor Jouffrey began their education at Lycée Michelet, where they pursued classes préparatoires in Physical Sciences from 2009 to 2011. Victor then attended École normale supérieure de Lyon from 2011 to 2015, where they obtained a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics, along with a Master's degree in the same field. Lastly, from 2015 to 2020, Victor pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) at the University of Cambridge, specializing in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics.
