Jennie McGinnis

Jennie McGinnis currently serves as the Vice President of Life & Retirement at Horace Mann since May 2025, leading initiatives to assist educators in protecting their financial futures. Prior to this role, Jennie held the position of Chief Actuary FNWL at Farmers Insurance from April 2020 to May 2025, where key responsibilities included managing actuarial deliverables and strategic bidding processes. From June 2006 to April 2020, Jennie was a Senior Vice President at Swiss Re, focusing on the enhancement of the Americas in-force portfolio and developing client solutions. Jennie's career began with actuarial internships at Hewitt Associates and Principal Financial Group, gaining experience in retirement plan valuations and reserve development. Jennie holds a Master of Science in Actuarial Science from the University of Iowa and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics with a minor in Communication from Ferris State University.
