Steve Ajakaiye Cisa

Steve Ajakaiye, CISA, CISM, currently serves as the Assistant Vice President of IT (Security Operations) at Horace Mann, leading teams in IAM/SecAdmin, Security Architecture, and Application Security while focusing on staff development. Previously, Steve was a Cyber Security Program Leader at Uber Freight, overseeing the implementation of security programs using NIST CSF and Cobit 5 Framework. Prior roles include Director of IT Security and Compliance and various management positions at PrimeSource Building Products, where Steve developed and maintained comprehensive security strategies, managed IT risk profiles, and coordinated security training programs. Steve holds a Master's degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems from East Texas A&M University and The University of Texas at Dallas, respectively.
