Eric P. Blackhurst

Eric P. Blackhurst serves as the Chair of the Board at Horizon Bank and actively contributes to the Governance and Nominating and Compensation Committees. An accomplished legal professional, Eric has held various senior positions at Dow from 1990 to 2024, including Associate General Counsel for Corporate Transactions and regional oversight for Latin America. Eric's leadership experience extends to academia as Interim President at Alma College and as an Adjunct Professor. Eric's governance roles include serving as Director and Chair of the Governance and Nominating Committee at Wolverine Bancorp and involvement with multiple committees and projects in real estate and venture capital. Eric holds a Bachelor of Arts from Alma College, a J.D. from the University of Kentucky, and an Honorary Doctorate from Alma College.
