Horizon Institute for Public Service
Remco Zwetsloot is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of Horizon Institute for Public Service since 2022, where the focus is on developing talent in AI, biotech, and emerging technology policy. Zwetsloot has served as an Adjunct Fellow at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) since 2021 and was a Trustee Fellow and Research Fellow at the Center for Security and Emerging Technology from 2019 to 2022. Previous experience includes a role as a Policy Analyst at OpenAI in 2018 and Graduate Research Assistant positions at Yale University and the University of Oxford from 2015 to 2018. Educational credentials include a DPhil in International Relations from the University of Oxford, an MPhil in Political Science from Yale University, and an MPhil in International Relations from the University of Oxford, alongside a BA in International Relations and History from University College Roosevelt and an AA in Philosophy and Journalism from Green River College.
