Kurt Johnson is an accomplished entrepreneur with extensive experience in the technology and logistics sectors. As the CEO and Co-Founder of FreightPOP since January 2016, Kurt has led the development of a cloud-based software that simplifies logistics management across various transportation methods. Additionally, Kurt founded Horizon Technology, providing innovative data storage and display solutions since June 1996, and served as an advisor and co-founder of Horizon Display, focusing on interactive touch applications for businesses. Previously, Kurt was also a co-founder of Horizon Private Cloud, which offered unique virtual desktop solutions before its acquisition by Cloud Nation. Early career experience includes a role as VP of Sales at Emerald Components and co-founding Pacific Rim Technology Group. Kurt holds a BSME in Mechanical Engineering and Business Economics from UC San Diego and pursued further education at UC Irvine.
