Stephen Buckler has over 30 years of work experience in the technology industry. Stephen began their career at Real World Electronics, where they started as a memory buyer and later worked their way up to become the Vice President of Trade. During this time, they managed the worldwide operations of the trading desk and was responsible for overseeing commodity managers and purchasing staff. In 2000, Real World Electronics was acquired by Vertical Net.
After their time at Real World Electronics, Buckler joined Fusion Trade as the Vice President of Trade. Stephen played a key role in developing the company's strategic direction, business model, trade platform, and supporting processes. Stephen managed the global trading desk, which involved supervising commodity managers and purchasing staff.
Currently, Buckler serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Horizon Technology, a leading distributor of data storage to data centers and computing companies. In this role, they set the strategic direction for the company's operations, oversees global day-to-day operations, and manages various functions such as logistics, value-add services, and quality assurance.
Stephen Buckler attended Christian Brothers Academy from 1979 to 1983 for their secondary education. Stephen then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from Le Moyne College, which they obtained from 1983 to 1987. No degree or field of study was specified for their secondary education.
