Dalita Getzoyan is an experienced music therapist currently employed at Hospice of New York since August 2022, where responsibilities include providing music therapy interventions for patients in the community, educating staff and facilities about music therapy, and collaborating in clinical documentation. Previous positions include serving as a fee-for-service psychotherapist at Union Settlement, where a focus on trauma-informed care was implemented, and extensive experience at Continuum Care Hospice as a music therapist, engaging with patients and families while advocating for expressive therapies in healthcare. Dalita has also contributed to education as an adjunct professor at Lesley University and held leadership roles at Gateway Healthcare, ensuring comprehensive care within an Assertive Community Treatment team. Dalita holds a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Music Therapy from Lesley University and a Bachelor's degree in Flute Performance with a minor in Psychology from the University of Rhode Island.
