Hospice Of New York
Lauren Lake is a licensed clinician currently serving as the Bereavement Department Manager and Bereavement Coordinator at Hospice of New York, providing support to bereaved families of patients who received end-of-life care while overseeing department management and program development. Previous experience includes roles at Bread for the City focused on financial relief distribution during the COVID-19 pandemic, various positions in customer service, and an internship at the Washington DC Rape Crisis Center assisting with victim services. Additional internship experience includes project coordination at Hispanic Communications Network, enhancing media campaigns for Latino communities, and bilingual wish granting at Make-A-Wish Mid-Atlantic, where support was provided to Hispanic families dealing with life-threatening illnesses. Lauren Lake holds a Master's degree in Clinical/Medical Social Work from New York University and a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from the Catholic University of America.
