Monica Escalante

Monica Escalante holds significant leadership experience in the healthcare sector, currently serving as the Chief of Strategy and Information at Hospice of the Chesapeake since July 2024. Previously, Monica was the President of Coastal Hospice & Palliative Care, where responsibilities included driving strategic growth and direction for hospice and palliative care services. With over twenty years of leadership, Monica also held the positions of CFO and CCO at Montgomery Hospice, focusing on strategic financial objectives, and worked as a Social Marketing Specialist at The Media Network, promoting health behavior change in diverse communities. Additionally, Monica served as the Business School Director of Finance and Human Resources at Universidad Católica Boliviana, managing a substantial budget. Academic qualifications include a Master’s in Marketing from The Johns Hopkins University - Carey Business School, a Master’s in Public Policy and Management from Universidad Católica Boliviana, and a Bachelor's in Business Administration from Universidad Mayor de San Andrés.
