Max began their career in 2011 as an Administrative Assistant at Nease Agency Nationwide Insurance, where they processed payments and inquiries, digitized documents, and developed personal relationships with customers. In 2012, they worked as an Intern at Koch & Hoos LLC. Max then joined East Carolina University in 2014 as an Anthropology Research Assistant, conducting interviews, designing research instruments, and networking with local leaders. From 2009 to 2015, Max worked at Nease Personnel Services, Inc. as an Assistant Recruiter, actively recruiting candidates and maintaining applicant tracking databases.
