Shane Newman

Shane Newman is an experienced professional in analytics and risk consulting, currently serving as the Manager of Analytics and Insights at Hostelworld Group since March 2022, after progressing through roles as Team Lead and Analyst. Prior to this, Shane held various positions at KPMG Ireland from September 2016 to November 2021 in risk consulting, advancing from Associate to Manager. Shane’s earlier roles include summer internships in customer service at PTSB, fund structuring at Credit Suisse, online sportsbook at Paddy Power, and door-to-door sales at Appco Group Ireland. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Business Studies in Accounting & Finance with Business Informatics from the University of Limerick and completion of the Chartered Accountants Ireland program from 2016 to 2018, along with earning the Leaving Certificate with outstanding recognition at St. Fachtnas De La Salle, Skibbereen.
