Emma Backer is currently a Business Intelligence Specialist Trainee at Hot ITem since September 2022. Prior experience includes roles in Systeemintegratie at Amsterdam UMC, involvement in the GGD vaccination program at GGD Hollands Midden, and a sales position at The Stone. Emma also completed a Bachelor's internship at Leiden University Medical Center focused on endocrinology, specifically the interaction between glucocorticoid and androgen signaling in metabolic disease. Emma holds a Master's degree in Human Movement Sciences and a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and Leiden University, respectively.
