Kees Koolen

Kees Koolen is an accomplished entrepreneur and industry leader with extensive experience in renewable energy and technology. As the Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Koolen Industries since January 2019, Kees focuses on making renewable energy accessible to all. Kees also founded The Green Box, a cleantech campus in Hengelo, promoting collaboration among companies to expedite the energy transition. With a history of leadership roles, Kees has served as a board member for Hotmart and EQT Ventures, and held positions such as Chairman and CEO at Super B Lithium Power B.V. and Lithium Werks. Kees' background includes significant tenures at Booking.com and Rentalcars.com, along with advisory experience at Uber Technologies. Kees holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Fontys University of Applied Sciences and has pursued a Technical MBA at the University of Twente.
