James Ward is a game designer at House of How since January 2022, specializing in the development of games using various proprietary engines, cloud-driven asset pipelines, and interviewing technical designers and programmers. James conceptualizes and builds open-world environments, establishes game economies, and develops tools for other designers. Prior experience includes serving as a psychology research assistant and a computer science teaching assistant at DigiPen Institute of Technology, where responsibilities involved processing video game studies and assisting students with C# projects. James previously held a game design internship at House of How, focusing on game development tools and environments. James holds a Bachelor’s degree in Game Design from DigiPen Institute of Technology, completed in 2023.
