Chris Ohlgren is an accomplished animator with extensive experience in both CG and stop-motion animation. Currently serving as an animator at HouseSpecial since July 2022, Chris has held previous animator positions at WOODEN BOY PRODUCTIONS, INC. and HouseSpecial. With a career that began at Will Vinton Studios and continued at Laika, Chris has honed skills in character fabrication, modeling, sculpting, and various animation techniques. In addition to practical work, Chris has contributed to the field as an instructor at the Art Institute of Portland, teaching advanced character animation and stop-motion courses. Chris holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Business from Linfield University, where studies included Japanese.
