Michael Somerville

Michael Somerville currently serves as the Vice President of Mortgage Finance at the Housing Opportunities Commission, a position held since April 2024. Prior to this role, Michael was the Senior Vice President and FHA Product Manager at Grandbridge Real Estate Capital from September 2018 to October 2023. Michael also held the Senior Vice President title at EagleBank from September 2015 to September 2018 and served as the Director of the Multifamily Asset and Counterparty Oversight Division, as well as Credit Risk Officer at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development from January 2013 to September 2015. Additional experience includes a managerial role at Deloitte & Touche LLP and vice presidency within the Financial Analytics Unit at the Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation. Michael holds an M.B.A. in Business Administration and Management from The George Washington University School of Business and a BSBA in Finance from Xavier University.
