Ben Jones is an experienced conservation and education leader currently serving as the Vice President of Conservation and Education at Houston Zoo since November 2022. Previously, Ben held the position of Executive Director at Texas Conservation Alliance from August 2020 to November 2022, focusing on community-based conservation efforts to protect Texas's natural resources. Ben also served as Senior Director of Conservation and Dean of Dallas Zoo's Wild Earth Academy from February 2015 to August 2020, where responsibilities included strategic direction for educational programs. Ben earned a Master's degree in Life Sciences from Texas A&M University, completing studies from 1989 to 1996.
