Houston Zoo
Peter Riger is the VP of Conservation and Education at the Houston Zoo. Peter has been in this role since January 2004, and has been with the Houston Zoo since January 2000. Prior to that, they were the Supervisor at the Nashville Zoo from January 2000 to January 2004. Before that, they worked as a Mammal Keeper at the Wildlife Conservation Society's Bronx Zoo from January 1992 to December 1998. Peter also worked as a seasonal keeper at Beardsley Zoo from March 1987 to August 1987 and as a zookeeper at Riverside Zoo from January 1987 to December 1990.
They are on a team with Nick Espinosa - VP, Development, Kristin Finney - VP, Human Resources, and Trazanna Moreno - VP, Marketing & Communications. Their manager is Lee Ehmke, CEO.
