Houthoff
Joosje van Riel is a Legal Adviser specializing in Privacy, Data Protection, and IT Contracts at Houthoff since August 2023. Previously, Joosje served as Legal Counsel and Privacy Officer at Eye Security from January 2022 to August 2023, and had a legal internship there as well. Early in the career, Joosje gained experience as an Assistant Brand Manager at Grisi Hnos from October 2015 to 2016. Joosje holds an L.L.M. in International Technology Law from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, completed in March 2023, and a Bachelor’s degree in Criminology with a minor in Recht van de Toekomst from the same university, awarded in June 2021. Joosje's educational background also includes a Propedeuse in European Studies from The Hague University and a course in Spanish from Universidad La Salle, along with a secondary education diploma in Economie & Maatschappij from Haags Montessori Lyceum.
