David Basile serves as the Vice President of Technical Operations, Americas at Hovione since December 2021, focusing on the expansion of commercial operations and overseeing drug manufacturing in the region. Prior to this role, David held key positions at Catalent Pharma Solutions, including Global Director of Engineering, Reliability & Automation, where responsibilities included managing strategic capital projects and global programs. David's experience also encompasses roles at Teva Pharmaceuticals, directing engineering and continuous improvement efforts, and at Actavis (now Allergan) as Associate Director of Engineering, leading major facility projects and team management. Earlier in the career, David worked with Cardinal Health, Cierra Photonics, and Biotrol in various engineering and automation capacities. David holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame and a Master's Degree in Systems Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
