Filipe Ataíde is a Senior Scientist at Hovione, with experience in technology intensification, continuous tableting, and process chemistry development since July 2015. Significant contributions include scaling up chemical processes in a GMP environment and leading teams focused on flow chemistry and continuous technologies for API synthesis. As a co-founder and Head of Bioinformatics at Functional Enviromics Technologies, Filipe played a pivotal role in various research projects at Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia da Universidade Nova de Lisboa. Educational achievements include a PhD in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering from Universidade Nova de Lisboa and an MSc from Universität Hannover, complemented by extensive research expertise in process modeling, simulation, and development within both academic and industrial settings.
