Seth Grossman

Seth Grossman is an experienced leader in administration and operations, currently serving as Vice President, Chief Operating Officer, and Senior Advisor to the President at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI). Previous roles include Vice President of Administration & Chief Administrative Officer, Vice President of People and External Affairs & Counselor to the President, and Chief of Staff and Counselor to the President at American University. Seth Grossman also held the position of Chief of Staff to the President at the UC Office of the President and served in various capacities at the US Department of Homeland Security, including Counselor to the Secretary and Deputy General Counsel. Early career experience includes a law clerk position at the Supreme Court of the United States. Academic credentials include a law degree from Yale Law School and an undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
