Candy Wongsam

Candy Wongsam currently serves as the Director of Student Housing and Commercial Portfolio Management at Howard University, a position held since May 2022. Prior to this, Wongsam was the Regional Property Manager at Murn Properties and Grady Management, overseeing various property portfolios and operations. With extensive experience in property management dating back to 1993, Wongsam has held key roles at Southern Management, where responsibilities included managing large communities and leading strategic initiatives that contributed to the company's recognition with the Platinum Malcolm Baldridge Award. Wongsam also has a background in board membership for organizations such as the Charles Street Development Corporation and the Historic Charles Street Association. Education includes a Bachelor's degree in Ethics from the University of Virginia and a Property Management Masters from Southern Management University.
