Christie L. Taylor

Chris Taylor currently serves as the Vice President and Secretary of the Board of Trustees at Howard University since June 2021. Prior to this role, Chris Taylor was the Associate Secretary of the Corporation at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2008 to June 2021, contributing significantly to the governance structure of the university. Chris Taylor's earlier experience includes serving as the Director of Administration at Harvard University from 1998 to 2008, overseeing various administrative operations within the Department of Visual and Environmental Studies and the Department of Maternal and Child Health. Chris Taylor holds an MA in English from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a BS in Journalism from Boston University, along with additional education from Simmons College, Harvard University, and The Mediation Group.
