Demaris Adeusi

DeMaris Adeusi, formerly Trapp, serves as the Senior Associate General Counsel for Faculty Affairs, Employment & Labor Relations at Howard University since September 2019, after previously holding the position of Associate General Counsel. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Associate at Hogan Lovells, where representation centered on employment law matters unique to educational institutions, and as an Associate at Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP, focusing on various employment-related disputes and legal compliance. Adeusi began a legal career with significant internships and roles, including student attorney work at the GW Law Public Justice Advocacy Clinic and various summer associate positions across notable law firms. Adeusi holds a Juris Doctor with High Honors from The George Washington University Law School and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Temple University.
