Duncan Cowan

Duncan Cowan is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in engineering and development. As Co-Founder and CTO of Howbout since December 2019, Duncan has leveraged a strong foundation built during previous roles, including Electrical System Engineer at Airbus Defence and Space from September 2016 to October 2019 and Software Engineer at Shell from September 2011 to September 2016, where Duncan also participated in the Year in Industry Scheme. Prior experience includes working as a Web Developer for Web Wise Media Exeter from March 2014 to September 2015, focusing on client website development and editing. Duncan holds a Master’s Degree in Electronic Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Exeter (2012 - 2016) and completed high school at Liverpool Blue Coat School (2004 - 2011).
