Patrick Bousfield

Patrick Bousfield is a seasoned reinsurance professional currently serving as Managing Director at Howden Re since April 2024. Previously, Bousfield held the position of Senior Broker and Chair of Lockton Cyber Centre at Lockton Re from September 2021 to April 2024, focusing on client origination in non-property lines such as cyber and casualty reinsurance. Prior to that, Bousfield was Executive Director at Gallagher Re from July 2016 to September 2021, where the North America initiative of Capsicum Re was founded, emphasizing innovative solutions in cyber reinsurance. Bousfield also gained experience as a Broker and Business Developer at EC3 Brokers, an Account Manager and Broker at Beach & Associates, and completed multiple roles within Beach specializing in reinsurance analysis and broker training. Bousfield holds a degree in HBA from Western University and has achieved professional designations in reinsurance and insurance.
