Dan Murray is a seasoned entrepreneur and executive with extensive experience in software development and leadership in various technology-driven organizations. As the Founder, CEO, and Chairman of Vertex Software since September 2017, Dan collaborates with manufacturers to optimize CAD and PLM investments, enhancing supply chain efficiency and boosting sales. Additionally, Dan serves as Chairman of Structurely, a real estate AI inside sales agent, and holds the position of Limited Partner at mHUB Chicago, focusing on early-stage physical product investments. At Hyde Park Angels, Dan co-chairs the Business & Financial Services Committee, contributing to the Midwest's largest angel investment group. Previous leadership roles include founding Workiva, leading product development at WebFilings, and managing a software consulting firm, Murray5.net. Early in their career, Dan held senior positions at Phasient and Engineering Animation, underscoring a robust background in product development and SaaS. Dan holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University.
