Basilio Solís Castillo

Basilio Solís Castillo is a Senior Data Scientist at HRS Group since June 2022, previously working as a Data Scientist. From January 2016 to July 2022, Basilio served as a Doctoral Researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Radio Astronomy. In academia, Basilio held the position of Associate Professor at Universidad Central (CL) from February 2020 to January 2022 and was an Assistant Professor there from March 2009 to January 2015. Additionally, Basilio worked as a Scientific Advisor at the Planetario de la Universidad de Santiago from October 2008 to June 2013. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Astrophysics from The University of Bonn (2015-2022), a Magíster en Astrofísica from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (2007-2009), and a Licenciado en Física con mención en Astronomía from Universidad Católica del Norte (2002-2006).
