Zdeslav Đerek

Zdeslav Đerek is a seasoned compliance professional with extensive experience in the banking sector. Currently serving as Deputy Head of the Compliance Division at Hrvatska poštanska banka, d.d. since July 2023, Đerek previously held the position of Head of Compliance at Nova hrvatska banka from April 2022 to July 2023, and has a long tenure as Head of Compliance at Sberbank d.d. Croatia from 2013 to April 2022. Prior to that, Đerek served as Head of Compliance at Volksbank for a decade and began a career as a Legal Advisor/Associate at the State Attorney's Office between 2000 and 2003. Educationally, Đerek holds a Master of Laws (LLM) degree from the University of Zagreb and has participated in programs at the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School and Duke University.
