HS1 Ltd
HS1 Ltd has the 30-year concession to own and operate High Speed 1, the UK’s only high-speed railway, as well as the stations along the line: St Pancras International, Stratford International, Ebbsfleet International and Ashford International. High Speed 1 is the railway line between St Pancras International in London and the Channel Tunnel and connects Britain's capital directly with the international high-speed routes to Paris, Brussels and Amsterdam. HS1 Ltd adds economic, cultural and social value to the regions and communities it serves. The high-speed line has created and supported nearly 6,000 tourism sector jobs in Kent to date, boosting the region’s visitor economy by over £72.7 million in 2016 alone. HS1 Ltd also has significant commercial interests in retail, car parking and advertising media at each of its stations, including St Pancras International, a global rail and retail icon. Following its re-development in 2007, the Grade I listed station is consistently voted one of the best in the UK in the National Rail Passenger Survey. HS1 Ltd continues to protect, enhance and grow its business by working closely with its partners to improve services, grow its retail strategy and develop new international routes.
