Hing Han Eric Chua

Hing Han Eric Chua has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several organizations and roles. Hing Han Eric began their career in 1994 at the Defence Materiel Organisation, Mindef Singapore, where they served as a Project Engineer and later as a Project Leader. In 1998, they pursued a Master's degree at Cranfield University before returning to the Defence Materiel Organisation as a Project Manager.

In 2000, Chua joined DSTA and held various positions including Project Manager, Systems Architect, Program Manager, Senior Principal Engineer, and finally, Head of Procurement Development. Hing Han Eric worked there until 2012 when they joined the Ministry of Home Affairs Singapore as a Deputy Director. In 2019, they were promoted to the position of Director before leaving the ministry later that year to join HTX (Home Team Science & Technology Agency). At HTX, Chua served as the Director of Platforms Systems Sustainment Centre and later took on the role of Director Land Systems COE. As of July 2022, they are currently the Director of Partnerships at HTX.

Hing Han Eric Chua's education history includes a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Singapore Polytechnic (1987-1989), a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Queensland (1992-1993), and a period of study at Cranfield University (1998-1999). Additionally, they have completed various courses related to project management, systems engineering, and defense management. The most recent program they attended was the Pheonix Programme at MHA - INSEAD in 2018.
