Wee Liang Tee has a diverse work experience that spans over 20 years. Wee Liang'smost recent role is as the Agency CISO / Principal Engineer at HTX (Home Team Science & Technology Agency) starting from December 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Technical Manager at BAE Systems Applied Intelligence from October 2020 to December 2021. Wee Liang also served as a Senior Assistant Director at the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA) from July 2015 to October 2020. Before their time at CSA, Wee Liang Tee gained valuable experience as a Technical Manager / Senior Service Technical Lead at BlackBerry from January 2008 to February 2015. Wee Liang started their career at DSTA as an Associate System Engineer from November 1998 to August 2000 and later worked as a System Engineer at SingTel from August 2000 to February 2006. Wee Liang Tee also had a role as a TechOps Engineer at Litespeed Education Pte Ltd from February 2006 to January 2008.
Wee Liang Tee completed a Bachelor of Computing degree in Systems Development from Monash University from 1999 to 2001. Wee Liang also obtained a Diploma in IT from Nanyang Polytechnic from 1993 to 1996. Additionally, they have acquired multiple certifications in various fields, such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² in 2021 and Advanced Cyber Technology and Threat Management from root9B LLC in 2017, among others. In 2003, they achieved the Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification.
