Liana Abou Zaki

Liana Abou Zaki has over four years of professional experience, beginning with their role as Co-Founder at Asem in 2018. In 2017, they were appointed President of the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) Club at the American University in Dubai (AUD), as well as Youth Ambassador at the Global Compact Local Network UAE. In 2018, they were elected Lifetime Honor Society Member at Beta Gamma Sigma, and also became Research Assistant at AUD's Center of Excellence for Research in Finance and Accounting (CERFA). In 2019, they were a Strategy and Operations Intern at Google, and in 2020 they were a McKinsey Achievement Awardee. Liana is currently a Product and Strategy Associate at Hub71, beginning in 2022.

Liana Abou Zaki began their educational journey at International School of Choueifat, Dubai, where they earned a High School Degree in Sciences, Calculus, Business, Advanced Economics, Advanced English, and Arabic in 2015. Liana then moved to American University of Sharjah, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature, General in 2016. After that, they attended American University in Dubai, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics, with a Political Science Minor in 2019. That same year, they also completed a Custom Course Abroad in Political Economy at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). In addition to their educational background, Liana Abou Zaki has obtained several certifications, including the McKinsey Forward Program | Advanced Level from McKinsey & Company (2022), a Comprehensive Product Management Course from Udemy (2020), a Media Presenting Course from Focus Academy (2019), a Blue Dot Certified Listener: mindful mental health compassion training from Google (2019), Diversity & Inclusion Training: various voluntary internal programs from Google (2019), Giving Your Elevator Pitch from LinkedIn (2018), a Level 2 International Award in Pediatric First Aid, Defibrillation, and CPR from Highfield (2019), and a Level 2 International Award in Emergency First Aid, Defibrillation, and CPR from Highfield (2019).
