Asier Llano

Asier Llano, PhD, currently serves as Senior Principal Technology Architect at Hubbell Incorporated since September 2021. Prior experience includes roles as R&D Manager and Technology Manager at ZIV Aplicaciones y Tecnología from September 2016 to September 2021, as well as R&D Software Area Manager and R&D Project Manager at ZIV CG Automation from October 2004 to September 2016, where responsibilities included overseeing software development for Distribution Automation Systems and managing projects in Embedded Systems for electricity utilities. Asier began a career in software development for signal processing and capturing at UPV ESI Bilbao TSR group from November 2000 to October 2004. Asier holds a PhD in Mobile Network Communications Engineering, along with a Master's degree and an MS in Telecommunications Engineering from Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea.
