Chris Matl

Chris Matl currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at HudsonAlpha Institute for Biotechnology, overseeing finance, procurement, accounts payable, human resources, legal, and compliance functions since January 2024. Previously, Chris Matl held various strategic and financial leadership roles at Medtronic from 1998 to 2023, including CFO for the Aortic Business Unit and Senior Finance Director for both the Coronary and Renal Denervation sectors. Early career experiences include positions at First Data Corporation as a Credit Manager and at Dun and Bradstreet as a Business Analyst. Chris Matl earned an MBA in Finance from Southern Methodist University and a BA from Marquette University.
