David Walker is an accomplished academic and researcher with extensive experience in fetal and neonatal health. Currently a Professor at RMIT University since February 2017, David also serves as a Senior Scientist at the MIMR-PHI Institute and the Hudson Institute of Medical Research. With a strong background as a Principal Research Fellow at Monash University from 1987 to 2013, David has dedicated their career to advancing understanding in fetal, neonatal, and placental physiology. David holds a Doctor of Science (D.Sc) and a PhD in Perinatal Physiology, both from Monash University, and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) from the University of Melbourne.
