Simon Chu is a seasoned researcher with extensive experience in the field of molecular endocrinology, holding the position of Research Group Head at the Hudson Institute of Medical Research since May 2009. Simon's work focuses on endocrine-related cancers, which account for a significant proportion of newly diagnosed cancers, including breast, endometrial, prostate, thyroid, adrenal, and certain ovarian cancers. Previously, Simon served as a Research Officer at Witchery following the merger of Prince Henry's Institute and Monash Institute of Medical Research in January 2014, and held the role of Senior Postdoctoral Fellow at the Pasteur Institute du Cambodge from January 2007 to April 2009. Simon's career began at Prince Henry's Institute, where Simon was a Senior Research Officer from March 2005 to January 2007. Simon obtained a PhD in Molecular Endocrinology from Monash University between 2001 and 2005, and completed HSC at Peninsula School Mt Eliza from 1983 to 1986.
