Tamara Brown

Tamara Brown is an accomplished quality control professional with extensive experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. Currently serving as the Director of QC at Humacyte since September 2015, Tamara has overseen the QC Environmental Monitoring Program and managed microbiology laboratory budgets. Previous roles include Associate Director and QC Manager at Humacyte, where responsibilities included analytical method management and implementation of Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS). Prior to Humacyte, Tamara held the position of Investigation Supervisor at Hospira and various QC roles at Osiris Therapeutics Inc., focusing on lot release coordination and assay validation. Tamara began a career in research as a Senior Research Assistant and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from Montana State University.
