Marie-Hélène R. is an experienced communications strategist currently working with the #WelcomeWithDignity Campaign at Human Rights First since January 2025, following a similar role in the same campaign at the Women's Refugee Commission. Previous positions include Senior Director at Metropolitan Group and Head of Communications & Partnerships at Lighthouse Relief. Marie-Hélène has also served as a Communications Officer at both Syrian American Medical Society and Lighthouse Relief, and has experience as a Writer/Researcher at the Museum of Food and Drink. Additional roles consist of Program Amplification Fellow with Global Health Corps/GE Foundation and Web Editor at Art Privée, along with serving as an Editorial Associate at Karen Gantz Literary Management. Education includes a Master's degree in Human Rights/Humanitarian Action from Sciences Po, and a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Comparative Literature from New York University, complemented by an American High School Diploma and International Baccalaureate Diploma from Rabat American School.
