Humane World for Animals
Chuck Laue is the executive chair of Companion Protect, LLC, as well as the chair and long-time board member and supporter of Great Plains SPCA, a large animal shelter in the Kansas City metro area. Laue joined the HSUS Board of Directors in 2013 and serves on the Audit and Executive committees. He chairs the board of the Humane Society Legislative Fund and serves on the board of several other animal welfare-focused nonprofits.
Laue and his wife, Jennifer, founded Stray Dog Capital in 2013 to fund more humane, sustainable food systems through venture capital. Laue also co-founded three private foundations—The Quinn Foundation, Stray Dog Institute and Ringo’s Fund—that focus on collaboration and charitable giving for animal and human welfare causes. In his free time, Laue enjoys vegan food and spending time with his family.
