Preston Moore is an experienced leader in animal welfare and community outreach, currently serving as the Iowa State Director for The Humane Society of the United States since May 2018. In this role, Preston has successfully led lobbying efforts for state-level policy changes, managed collaborations with lawmakers and organizations, and coordinated disaster response efforts. Prior roles include Director of Development & Community Outreach at Cedar Valley Humane Society, where Preston significantly increased donor revenue and launched public aid programs, and Director of Marketing & Communications at the National Czech & Slovak Museum & Library, where Preston implemented successful outreach strategies and increased attendance dramatically. Educational accomplishments include a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism & Mass Communication from the University of Iowa and a Graphic Design Certificate from Kirkwood Community College.
