Who you are
Humanforce is on the lookout for an experienced Country Manager to champion our strategy and operations in the Philippines. In this pivotal leadership position, you will take charge of establishing and nurturing our Manila entity, covering everything from legal registration and office setup to team growth and operational oversight. Your role will involve orchestrating our functional teams, creating scalable infrastructure, and cultivating our company culture locally.
As the primary link to the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), you'll ensure that our Manila teams are in sync with overarching company objectives, fostering a dynamic, compliant, and high-performing workplace.

What you will do
Strategic Leadership:
- Own the establishing, growing, and enhancing our operations in Manila, ensuring we hit our strategic targets with flair.
- Guide the P&L for operations in the Philippines, guaranteeing that our business performance not only meets objectives but also paves the way for sustainable growth.
- Take ownership for opportunities in operational enhancements, implementing innovative solutions that boost efficiency and scalability.
- Inspire, guide, and mentor the Manila team, cultivating a high-performance culture that resonates with our core values.
- Serve as the key daily point of contact between the Manila office and the Executive Leadership Team, ensuring we stay aligned with overarching company goals while fostering seamless communication across all functions.
- Lead and manage the daily functions of our Manila office, guaranteeing seamless operations across all areas, from Product and Engineering to Customer Success, Customer Support, and Professional Services.
- Foster a culture of accountability by driving performance metrics and ensuring the timely achievement of our key goals.
- Maintain adherence to all local regulations, company policies, and industry standards to uphold our commitment to excellence.
- Shape, inspire, and lead a dynamic team, developing a culture that embodies the principles of Humanforce.
- Partner with the People & Culture and Enablement teams to attract exceptional talent, craft engaging onboarding experiences, and enhance employee involvement with a local perspective.
- Serve as a guiding mentor and coach to local team leaders, empowering their growth and enhancing their leadership skills.
- Partner with international teams to enhance workflows and maintain operational uniformity.
- Devise and execute strategies to effectively scale our operations as the Manila team continues to expand.
- Create alignment among local teams with our commitment to a customer-centric approach, ensuring that we go above and beyond in delivering outstanding service and support to our valued customers.
- Serve as a key escalation point for regional challenges, collaborating across functions to effectively tackle and resolve issues.
- Oversee the budget for the Manila office, ensuring it remains cost-effective and meets our financial objectives.
- Deliver consistent updates to the Executive Leadership Team on operational performance, significant initiatives, and potential risks.
- Serve as the company's ambassador in the Philippines, cultivating robust connections with local partners, vendors, and stakeholders as needed.
What you’ll need
- At least 10 years of experience in a senior leadership capacity, such as a Country Manager or Head of Operations, preferably in the realm of B2B SaaS business.
- Demonstrated success in building and growing operations in the Philippines from the ground up.
- A proven leader with a history of managing P&Ls and fostering organizational expansion.
- Outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills in English.
- An adept mentor and coach, with a talent for creating and motivating high-performing teams.
- Strong analytical skills and a comfort in working with numerical data.
- A highly goal-driven individual who excels in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
Some ‘nice to haves’
- Bringing experience from a HCM or WFM SaaS software company would be a fantastic advantage for this position!
