Currently, Akshay serves as a Global Technology Investor at Hummingbird Ventures, leading and holding board positions in various companies across India, Indonesia, Australia, and the US. Akshay is also an active angel investor, contributing to ventures such as Jai Kisan and Crossmint. Previously, Akshay was a Fellow at the MIT Investment Management Company, focusing on investment opportunities in emerging markets. Additional experience includes a role as BD Senior Associate at Artivest and a Senior Analyst position at Citi, specializing in investment banking and capital markets. Akshay holds an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a BA in Economics and Ethnomusicology from Franklin & Marshall College.
