Akira Arnold

Akira Arnold has worked in various roles since 2014. Akira began as an Enrollment Registrar Coordinator at Medgar Evers College of The City University of New York, where they advised students of academic and administrative requirements, interpreted and communicated academic policies and procedures, and maintained compliance with established record release procedures. In 2018, they took on an HR Intern role at 350.org, where they posted new jobs in applicant tracking systems and provided assistance during the hiring process. That same year, they also took on a Talent Coordinator role at Macy's, where they were responsible for the onboarding of new colleagues in the NY region, processing new employee cases through Salesforce and PeopleSoft, and leading new hire orientation. In 2020, they began working as a Recruiting Coordinator at Splice, and in 2022 they began working as a Recruiting Sourcer at Hummingbird.

Akira Arnold completed a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree in 2018 from John Jay College (CUNY), specializing in Human Resource Management. Prior to that, Arnold obtained a Bachelor's degree in Criminology from the State University of New York College at Old Westbury, which was completed in 2015.
