James Rodden

James Rodden is a highly experienced software engineer with a progressive career specializing in iOS development. Currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer at Hungryroot since January 2022, James focuses on new feature development and maintenance of a personalized grocery delivery app, transitioning from UIKit to SwiftUI. Previous roles include creating a SwiftUI app and SDK at Abbott for wearable blood chemistry sensors, and holding senior engineering positions at Global Payments Inc., SALIDO, and Ambulnz, including leading the development of an "Uber" style ambulance service app. Notably, at Disney Parks & Resorts Digital, James was the architect and lead engineer of a team responsible for a comprehensive re-write of the MyDisneyExperience app used by over 100,000 daily users. James has a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Computer & Information Sciences from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
