Edmond Hughes

Edmond Hughes serves as the Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at Huntington Ingalls Industries, Inc. since April 2022, after a successful tenure as Vice President of Human Resources & Administration at Ingalls Shipbuilding from March 2006 to April 2022, where significant initiatives included developing a human capital strategy and managing the consolidation of manufacturing locations. Prior to this, Edmond held various HR leadership roles at TRW from 1991 to 2006, overseeing multiple manufacturing plants across North America and globally, and began a career at General Motors as a Labor Relations Representative. Edmond holds an MBA in Human Resources from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business and a BS in Chemistry from Tougaloo College.
