Jonathan Johnson

Jonathan Johnson is a seasoned cybersecurity professional and entrepreneur with extensive experience in security research and consulting. As the Founder of Johnson Security Research LLC since December 2024, Jonathan focuses on Detection & Research Consulting and Training. Currently serving as Principal Windows Security Researcher at Huntress, Jonathan has also held roles such as Principal Security Engineer at Prelude, Senior Security Researcher at Binary Defense, and Senior Threat Researcher at Red Canary. Additionally, Jonathan founded and hosted the Detection Challenging Paradigms Podcast from January 2021 to July 2023, contributing to the dissemination of knowledge in the cybersecurity field. Jonathan's earlier experience includes consulting positions at SpecterOps and an internship at PwC, alongside technical support roles at Southeast Missouri State University. Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Cybersecurity from Southeast Missouri State University.
